H&M Pascoe Boat Builders Ltd is a specialist in boat repair and vessel maintenance, servicing Whitianga and the Mercury Bay area in particular. We will travel to other areas for some work if applicable.
At the Whitianga Marina Hardstand we have three small workshops/storage sheds, along with our 16m movable shed, which is purpose built and capable of housing boats up to 15.5m. This means that work can be carried out in all weather. The shed has been designed so that scaffolding can be erected right around the boat for ease and safety of work.
At our Dundas Street boat yard in Whitianga we have a fully equipped woodworking workshop, an 8m shed to house trailer boats, as well as a shed capable of housing a 12m vessel for major repairs.
We are able to undertake any job in this field of boat repairs & boat building. We carry out toilet & holding tank installations, bow thruster installations, engine fit-outs, teak deck repairs, new boarding platforms & many other boat building jobs.
H&M Pascoe has 60 years’ experience in the boatbuilding and repair industry, from building small plywood dories to repairing large wooden fishing vessels, GRP and composite vessels. Our general boat painting services include antifouling, touch-ups, repainting stripes and boot toppings and full hull and topsides painting on both power and sailing vessels. We are the only approved Propspeed applicator in Whitianga and Mercury Bay.
We stock a full range of anodes, antifoul & other marine paint along with necessities such as impellers, pumps etc.
As an approved repairer for the insurance industry, H&M Pascoe has the skills to undertake and manage jobs that are required when a customer has an insurance claim and needs their vessel repaired.
