Cathedral Cove parking on Grange Road, Hahei

During the month of June, pay and display parking will be introduced at the Grange Rd car park in Hahei, which is the top carpark for access to the Cathedral Cove walk.

There will be a flat charge of $15.00 per vehicle with a four-hour time limit.

The car park is closed outside of daylight hours all year round and freedom camping is prohibited.

From 1 October to 30 April each year the Grange Road car park is a drop-off area only with no parking other than two accessibility parks that have a four hour time limit.

Thames Coromandel District Council has joined with Go Kiwi to provide a shuttle bus service, through the peak summer holiday period. It runs from the Hahei Visitor car park to the start of the Cathedral Cove walking track at the top of Grange Rd.

The Grange Road car park will be open for visitors 1 May - 1 October 2018, free of charge until June 2018. After that time, paid parking will be implemented.
