Whitianga Summer Concert line-up for 2019 announced

Another sizzling hot Whitianga Summer Concert will be coming our way in January next year with Greenstone Entertainment announcing its line-up of four international acts for their annual Summer Concert Tour.

Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson, legendary singer-songwriter, will perform all his Supertramp songs from the 70s and 80s, including “Dreamer,” "Give a Little Bit,” "It's raining Again,” “Breakfast in America,”  “Take the Long Way Home” and “The Logical Song.”

James Reyne (ex-lead singer of Australian Crawl) and Mark Seymour (ex-lead singer of Hunters & Collectors) will be playing classics from Australian Crawl, Hunters & Collectors and their solo works. Mark and James will be teaming up for the first time in New Zealand with some of their iconic hits from the 80s and 90s, including “Holy Grail,” “Throw Your Arms Around Me,” “Reckless” and “Downhearted.”

Completing the international line-up will be the unmistakable and powerful voice of Toni Childs, who again is sure to have everyone singing along to her Top 40 hits from the late 80s and early 90s, including “Don’t Walk Away,” Stop Your Fussin” and “I’ve Got To Go Now.”

In addition to Whitianga, the artists will also be performing at Summer Concerts in Taupo and Queenstown.

The Whitianga Summer Concert will take place on Sunday 27 January (Aucklnad Anniversary Weekend) at the Whitianga Waterways Arena.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale for Greenstone Concert Club members from today through www.greenstoneentertainment.co.nz, $99 plus booking fees.

General tickets cost $109 plus booking fees and will be available from Monday 28 May, also through www.greenstoneentertainment.co.nz.
