65th wedding anniversary

My parents, Michael and Patricia Carlyon. They celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary a few days ago at the Lost Spring, Whitianga. It was perfect, just like a wedding. Avi at The Lost Spring was superb as was Karmen from Coastal Event Styling’s beautiful display and balloons. Mum and Dad were farmers from Waingaro and retired in Whitianga 18 years ago. They love it here. They had three children and have 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

The strength of their marriage is their own inner strength. They are kind to each other and have never given up on each other. They have been the most wonderful parents and growing up on the farm was the best upbringing for us and they have always been there for us together.
