Raising money for great causes at the Whiti Beach Meet through Local art. Julie Smith has always been very arty and she has a love for animals, Julie would have been a vet if life had gone the way she wanted it to in her early years. Now that she’s not helping run hers, and other businesses, she has more time on her hands, so has taken up drawing again and has found her niche drawing peoples pets, past and present and now also turning her hand to cars and trucks. We tend to forget just how much people get attached to their pets. Julie has the rare talent of being able to bring them to life, mainly through their eyes; she has had people bursting into tears when they are presented with a rendition of their pet, either past or present. Julie has recently had requests to have a crack at cars, trucks etc even an airplane has been commissioned with great results especially as presents. She has been very busy drawing all sorts of cars and trucks for the Whiti Beach Meet and will be selling the prints to raise money for the causes the club will be donating to, an unframed A4 print will cost $45.  Also the American Muscle Street & Custom Club Whitianga will be auctioning off her original rendition of the pink Cadillac for Project Mammogram this will be A3 size and framed.

Dress up - prize donated by CFMWe encourage you to dress either in the year of your Car, Bike, Truck or anything retro, even if you don’t have an entry, you could be up for a great prize for the best dressed female, male, and couple.
