Beach Meet -everyone a winner.
Just what Whitianga needed - a winner! Beach Meet won the weather, a great number and variety of show vehicles, a big crowd of participants, wonderful sponsors, great food and coffee, high class entertainment, generous prizes, and in the end, lots of winners and funds raised. Thank you to Main sponsors Farmer Auto Village and CFM along with lots of local and Auckland businesses
donated prizes, plus the semi-trailers loaned by the Christensen group. Beach Meet raised around $8,000.00. All proceeds will be donated equally to the Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust and Project Mammogram, Whitianga.
