Five selected from Mercury Bay

These five Mercury Bay First XV rugby boys have been selected to represent Central North Island in the Area Schools Tournament in Christchurch next week, Monday, 3 June to Thursday, 6 July.

They would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all of those who supported their fundraising efforts to help pay for their fees to get them there. They are very pleased and relieved that they have been able to raise enough funds for their expenses. The local businesses, community and parents have been extremely generous in their time and resources to make this possible and the boys say thank you.
