Lions family picnic

Saturday from 9.30am to 2.30pm at the Whitianga Bike Park was the Lions Family Picnic Day. There was everything for a child to enjoy and for a parent to say, “ This is a great event for my child(ren).” There was space to run and play, a bike to ride, novelty outdoor toys around every corner, high end exquisite face painting, bubble shows, ice creams, sausage sizzle, Dixieland band music, nice policemen and policewomen, prizes, and of course - the BEAR HUNT!

Thank you to Trevor Robinson and his amazing team, the Whitianga Lions Club; who organised a cracker event for the families of this district. Thank you to Coromandel CFM for the way you support these events going live in your broadcasting. Thank you to John Maud (Manager)and the host of volunteers who make the Whitianga Bike Park a destination attraction in Mercury Bay that’s an exciting, adventurous, but also a relaxing, experience for all ages.
