Lions leadership.

The Whitianga Lions annual induction of office bearers was held at the Mercury Bay Club on Thursday. It is always a focus on serving the community. Their guest speaker was Olivia MacDonald who had been the recipient of funds from Whitianga Lions for her USA football team experience. Olivia spoke very well and expressed her gratitude the opportunity the Lions Club, other community groups and her home town of Whitianga had given her. The night previous had been the Induction of office bearers for Mercury Bay Lions Club (women) and Barb Nippert was welcomed as their new President. Kevin Robinson will serve again as President of Whitianga Lions Club for 2023/24.
