Mercury Bay Fishing Club Junior Tournament

This last weekend, there were 71 junior members fishing on 36 boats which was a great result considering the very average sea conditions. On Sunday early evening, the club rooms were very busy with plenty of excited kids for the prizegiving. Congratulations to all the prize winners, including Kate Stables, who won the Junior Tournament Trophy, sponsored by Ocean Sports Marine Ltd. A big thanks to all the terrific sponsors, the parents and grandparents that took all the kids out, the radio operator and weighmasters and to Tina and Julz for putting it all together and making it such a fun event.
