Mid-winter Christmas at the Mercury Bay Club.

The Mid-winter Christmas Ball at Mercury Bay Club was an excellent night - in décor, dress styles – elegant and dapper, in roast food cuisine, in dancing and especially with the music. Spring Chicken band was tight and their level of professionalism equal to any high-level dance entertainment in the big cities. ‘One could say this was the Ball for the older people while the real game was at the Mercury Bay Area School Student Ball. That would be a lie! Both Balls did Mercury Bay a great favour. Both were memorable and classy. Thank you, Linda Fraser and the Mid-Winter Christmas Ball committee.
