Move it and the Napier Run - Harcourts says Thank You

The Harcourts team last week were extremely rewarded by the response from the public in all their communities' donating goods to the people affected by the flooding in Napier. One moment we were feeling absolute desolation for the Napier people and observing how lucky we had been on the Thames Coromandel Peninsula to have avoided the brunt of Cyclone Gabrielle to, next feeling overwhelmed when a positive call was made to Josh and Kylie from 'Move It' in Whitianga. The call was about an idea and a request - ‘If Harcourts across the Coromandel Peninsula asked its communities to bring in packaged food, clothing, bedding and supplies of daily living essentials, could Move It take a full truckload directly to Napier? They generously supported the idea and provided the transportation of all the goods collected over 4 days, down to Napier last weekend.
Our offices from Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga, Cooks Beach, Tairua, Pauanui, Whangamata, Waihi, Waihi Beach and Paeroa all rallied, communicating the need which resulted in a wonderful contribution of necessary items for the Hawkes Bay Relief Fund. The photos tell it all, the emotion was intense and we feel tremendous gratitude to everyone who contributed. Thank you.

As if on cue, our market eased back into action again and next minute all agencies are reporting they are writing up offers, people who have been waiting to settle up in the bigger centers made their way down, buyers are getting loans approved and our vendors are able to move on. Our large community has, and is experiencing, some uncertainty with its roading and transport communications, but the cycle of life and the determination to build a future or make new opportunities available in this beautiful part of the world, continues - new homes are being built, other homes becoming available to sell, properties are being sought after Once again it feels like we don’t have enough properties. Our teams are anxious to look after you.
We are offering both physical and virtual open homes of properties. There is a creative solution to every real estate problem. Positive signs are showing with interest rates appearing to have peaked or being close to having done so. We are needing more people on our teams and keen to have like-minded, trained Sales Consultants join the ride with us or train with us.
