Penultimates issue an invitation
By Julie Kipling.

Peninsula Penultimates is open to all over a certain age (working age) couples, widows(ers), singles, looking to meet new people, make new friends.
Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month, usually at the Mercury Bay Bowling Club in Cook Drive. The meetings include morning tea and a speaker. This is followed by lunch at a local cafe for those who wish to meet, eat and chat.
The Monday prior to the meeting, the group meets for a game of Mini Golf at WildWood. Teams of four play for chocolate fish and the biggest loser receives a fun trophy to keep until the next time. Lunch follows at a local Cafe; and it is not mandatory to play golf to attend the lunch.
There is usually an outing or get-together every month. These trips and get-togethers are planned well in advance.
September: Lunch trip to Hot Water Beach Hot Waves Cafe
October: Lunch trip to Kua Café, Kuaotunu
These outings give each of us a chance to look at other areas of the Coromandel and also to socialize more with one another.
Earlier in the year, a number of members attended the Show 7 Deadly Sins, performed by Tairua Troubadours at Tairua. These shows are always excellent and groups are seated together and encouraged to dress up to the theme of the show, and to bring drinks and nibbles to sustain them throughout the afternoon. Sometimes there is also time to include lunch at a cafe on the way.
We are aware that not everyone has a car or is willing to drive to the venues, so carpooling is available.
Peninsula Penultimates incorporated offers friends and fun.
