Police Report

GENERAL:

On the 7th of August threats were made to an occupant at an address on Tudor Grove. A person has been spoken to regarding the matter.


Also, on the 7th, threats were made to a member of the public on White Street as they were outside their own residence. Persons have been spoken to regarding their behaviour.


On the 8th of August a person unknowingly left their full petrol container on the forecourt of a service station. A male was observed on CCTV uplift the container without the consent of the owner. The male was spoken to, and the container returned.


Overnight on the 9th of August, a vehicle was broken into on Bongard Road with contents taken.


On the 12th of August a trespassed male returned to the Countdown store and was confronted by staff. It was later revealed he had stolen meat products. He will be spoken to further regarding the matter.


Overnight on the 13th of August, a motocross motorcycle was stolen off the rear of a vehicle parked on Dundas Street. Enquiries are being made to identify the offenders.


ARRESTS:

1x female arrested for warrants


OCCURRENCES:

On the 11th of August a drunken argument occurred at an address on Kupe Drive. Both parties separated for the remainder of the night and had reconciled the following day.


On the 12th of August an argument occurred at a Cook Drive address. An intoxicated female left the address after ringing family and they reconciled the following day.


TRAFFIC:

A number of single vehicle collisions in our area this week resulting in significant damage to the vehicles. Speed and alcohol appear to be the aggravating factor.


Police are focusing on Restraints, Impairment, Distractions and Speed the next few months.
