Whitianga Night Street Festival this Thursday Night 4:00pm - 8:00pm.


  • Tasty food options from the Whangapoua Catering Food Caravan - tasty options for dinner.

  • Award winning Old Mate Gin tasting at Whitianga Fine Wines and Spirits.

  • Mussel Fritters, fundraising for the senior football team.

  • Mercury Bay Area School - Year 9, 10 and 11 business students with Sushi, dog treats, snow cones, surf wax, churros, taco burgers, mocktails, candyfloss and a raffle.

  • Lotta Love is plant - based, home-made scrumptious food – from her caravan plant based Home-made goodness from the Lotta Love food caravan.

  • The team at Slice Slice Baby Pizza Whitianga will have the pizza oven cranking with delicious sourdough pizza and a special fruit crumble with custard and Italian meringue will also be available.

  • Well Stocked Deli just next door to Slice Slice baby will be open till 8.00pm and later for the Night market. Alex Samson’s indoor food specials will be her new winter initiative - Whitianga ‘Toastie Time’ - specialty toasties using her divine cheeses, and only Volare Sourdough breads. PLUS, Yummy desserts to go! - Little Lato Gourmet Boutique Gelato on waffles, in doughnuts and on crepes.

  • Whitianga Filipino community with have very tasty cultural dishes - Shanghai lumpia (beef mince and vegetable versions), spring roll wraps. PLUS selling a Philippine dish – Adobo (either chicken or pork) served with rice - easy for takeaway dinner.

  • Coroglen School will have the BBQ cranking with a sausage sizzle.

Other delights:

  • A selection of handmade items soy candles, hand sewn bags and scrunchies from two talented local ladies.

  • The Beekeeper - Pure New Zealand Honey products.

  • Great raffles – with Whitianga Waka Ama promoting their club with a great raffle and the Mercury Bay Lions will be fundraising for their community.

  • Face painting and bubbles thanks to Matilda the Time Travelling Fairy

  • Mainly Casual will be all-stops-out Winter Sale.


Bayleys Whitianga Music stage with some of Whitianga’s local musicians including:

Vegas Brown, Stu Pedley and Phil Hart.

Times can be desperate for sure but come to the Night Market - will be fun for everyone.
